Marteg Valley – Gifach and St Harmon.

South side of the River Marteg, Birds included: Whinchat (1 pair), 4 Stonechat included 3 juvs, Tree Pipits (2), and Wheatear (1 pair). On the River, Dipper (2 pairs), Grey Wagtail  (2 pairs).

Other Birds included singing Willow and Garden Warblers, Blackcap, Mistle and Song Thrush, Redstart, Pied Flycatcher and 2 Cuckoo were calling.

North of St Harmon, Curlew (1 pair) and a pair of Lapwing.
