Family of 11-12 tufted duck on claerwen this morning – pretty sure they’re tufted rather than goldeneye but very distant – happy to be corrected Tony!
Spotted 30+ stock dove on the way down from the dam, and 2 goldeneye on Dol Y Mynach. Missed any ouzels in the snow/hail at the VC but nice lunch all the same!

Got news about these Ducks, i think they were Tufted and im glad you saw them, but in difficult conditions, a bit blustery up there first thing. Keep a look out for Ouzels, still about.
Yes didn`t it just snow –about half an inch quickly on mountain road after lunch 😦 –after being quite pleasant around VC earlier in sun 🙂
