Many thanks to all those who turned up for todays bird watching event. A total of 30 species were recorded, star bird goes to the Lesser Whitethroat seen at the Broom plantation near Caban Coch dam. Other highlights included Siskin on the Thistles and Spotted flycatcher sitting on eggs. Diary date: 15th July, is the next bird watching event. Beginners most welcome, suitable clothing/footwear a must, no need to book, meet in the visitor centre car park at 9-30am. All details 07772 792722.
Tree Sparrow in Elan Village: A single bird was seen this morning with a few House Sparrows by visiting bird watchers.
