Common sandpipers Llandod lake.

Pleasing to see 4 common sandpipers perched on the sideways leaning alder branches above where the Grt Crested grebes had a 3rd attempt to nest and breed ( what is happening with them such a pity) this at approx 11am this morn.

  1. Good spot. Yes indeed, what is happening to those grebes? Weird!

  2. Cheers kev…..I’m pretty certain they are being predated…. by what is the concern …l haven’t seen any evidence day time but I wonder if Tarka is paying a night time visit.
