May summary

Elan Valley:  Congratulations to our friend Alex, who filmed a welsh Pine Marten.

Records of Hawfinch was most encouraging, they are about. A Little Egret was present at D y m 1st and 2nd, and a reeling Grasshopper Warbler was at Craig Goch 6th, 7th and 9th. A Ring Ouzel 7th, and a Yellowhammer record was interesting.

Cuckoos at least 10 calling birds, plenty of Skylarks, House Martins, Tree Pipits, Meadow Pipits, Whinchats and Stonechats. In the woodlands calling Song Thrush, Whitethroat, Garden Warbler, Blackcap, Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler,  Wood Warbler, and Pied Flycatcher.
