Elan Valley.

Yesterday, the lull before the storm! Peaceful after the melee…I know , we need the visitors! Curlew in evidence-just after I inform Susan that they always sing in flight, this one made me look silly by bursting into his bubbling song as he strolled nonchalantly round near Hirnant. A Whinchat obliged-still only 2 to be seen and a passage of Wheatears-a dozen or so. Finally , a Stoat by the old bridge leading to Elan village  ( featured briefly in Hinterland last week-bridge not Stoat!).
