Friends and New Faces.

Bird Walk, RSPB Carngafallt, Elan Valley.

A big thank you to all those that turned up today for this event.

A total of 32 species were seen, highlights included Wood Warbler, at least 3 singing birds, Mandarin, Stock Dove, Cormorant, Pied Flycatcher, Blackcap, Goshawk (Well spotted Cherry) and Redpoll.

  1. A very enjoyable morning and the weather held off for most of the morning too! Great to see such a good turn out. Next week hopefully the Redstarts will have returned..

  2. We really enjoyed it. Made a great start to our holiday in the Elan Valley.

  3. A great walk Tony and Alan, thank you. I spent the rest of the damp day in the Valley and saw 43 species.
