An overnight frost brings more wildfowl. On Dolymynach today there were 20 Mandarin, 13 Goldeneye, 10 Mallard, a pair of Wigeon, male Teal and Goosander.

Fieldfare 75+ at Ciloerwynt, 30+ at Claerwen farm and 30+ at Hirnant. 22 Mallard were on Garreg Ddu. A pair of Peregrine were flying over Claerwen valley and a female Goosander was on the river Elan. We had excellent views of a large female Goshawk hunting low over the fields near Dolifor farm in the late afternoon sunshine.
