Lake& Cefnllys.

Still got Waxies outside Newbridge , so the” quartennial” fun is not over yet! BUT… we were stuck in town with the usual disgusting Jan gloom and round the lake-13+ Goosanders and a couple of Reed Bunts, plus a pair of Bullfinches. Saw a Song Thrush  and a guy commented that it was the first one he’d seen in years!!

Up here  8 LT Tits , Treecreeper  & Goldcrest which has become a regular -always amuses me when we were reared on the idea that insectivores just ate insects!!! When desperate , they scoff peanut bits and sunflower bits  and any fat going ,etc.etc.
