Blackbird singing in dead of winter

It was a bit hesitant, a bit hoarse and a bit short, but it sounded uncannily like one! Have heard them singing in towns in January before but not here in Gorse Farm.

    Blackbird been singing here last two mornings; green woodpecker yaffling too and great spotted woodpecker drumming. Lovely to hear but a long way before winter ends I think
