L’dod lake etc.

The ice has gone and the gloom descends as we edge toward the solstice; Bazz spotted 2 Wigeon and there were re 20 male Goosanders yesterday with just the odd fem. Strange.  A Mistle Thrush was singing away, pretending that mild means Spring and this pristine Blackbird was highlighted by bright sun a few days ago!

Thanks Kevin for a a year of great photographs – I have not managed to get down for many visits this year but still feel in touch via the website.Hope to do more in the new year. Highlight for me was the focus on Llanbwchllyn where I finally managed to see a water rail this year (in the flesh rather than on the notice board) as well as the GWE’s. Dick Cridlan
