We remember…

I hardly know what to say and I do so hope Pete doesn’t mind, but it’s for him now that I pen this tribute-many of you will know of the wonderful contributions to this blog  by “L’dod Pete” and it is with a very heavy heart that I wish him all our support in these dreadful times as he struggles to cope with the passing of his lovely wife Gladys last week-It is a situation that only the older guys amongst us can fully apppreciate, as time flies on and leaves us saddened beyond redemption. Our thoughts are with you over these impossible times Pete and I hope that somehow you will find a way to look ahead with love and hope.

Thank you Kev, it is the worst time of my life and I do appreciate your kind words. If you remember Gladys fell in love with one of your photos of a Bully on Rohan berries and you gave me your kind permission to have a go at painting it. Well I made a start and it was coming along nicely, as you can understand the work has come to a standstill, but hopefully I will be able in the future to finish it, that being so I’ll put it on the blog. Many thanks. Peter
