Elan Valley.

Helping out at the Visitor Centre Craft Fair (Sat-Sun), well more Tess than i, we thought we might have time to do the rounds and see what`s about.

Today late afternoon/evening: And the frenzy still continues down Claerwen Valley with hundreds, if not thousands of our winter Scandanavian visitors still passing through, causing havoc with birds flying in all directions. Records of Sparrowhawk 3, Goshawk 2, Peregrine 2, and a Merlin were no surprise over the weekend. On D y m 9 Mallards and a Little Grebe, still a few Brambling with 30+ Fieldfares ground feeding below top dam, and a Great Crested Grebe was on Graig Goch.
