Fieldfares etc.

Up the Elan p.m. and thence the Claerwen : just past the farm and a swirling horde of Fieldfares caught our eyes. At least 200+. They refused to settle for ages, until a few dropped onto the line of Rowans, fidgeting uneasily-my guess would be newly arrived. Managed some distant pics : see if you can spot the Redwing (extreme left!)-didn’t realise until I enlarged the pic, which has 20 odd Fieldfares in it.

On to the dam and an autumnal Dipper pottering round the weir-looks as if Tony has been at it! Add 2 Buzzards worming and it made a fair outing.
