Confirmed breeding: Red Grouse 3 pairs, Curlew 1 pair, and just over the border, Lapwing 1 pair. Today at the v c, House Martins were still feeding young at the nest, above 30+ birds flying. At D y m reservoir 30+ Hirundines, adult Great Crested Grebe with 1 juv, and an adult Common Sandpiper with 1 juv, and a single Heron. At Ciloerwynt farm there were 40+ Swallows, and on the meadows 5 Goldfinch, and a Redpoll. At Claerwen farm 20+ House Martins and 10+ Swallows. Between Craig Goch dam and Pont ar Elan, 10 juv Whinchats and 2 adults, 4 juv Stonechats and 1 adult. On the water 5 Mallard and a single Cormorant. On the now cut meadows at Hirnant farm 50+ House Sparrows were feeding, and along the Aber mountain road 3 juv Wheatears.
