Elan again.

First spotted Tony leaping up main st. on his crutches-going well! After a rotten day’s drizzle and a dearth of birds, the rain eased round 16:00 and we began to see things: just above Craig Goch a family of Spotted Flycatchers and a family of Redstarts plus a Whinchat ,looking less than pristine as he was presumably feeding a second brood (or a very late one);several Stonechats young and old darting away before I could focus and lots of Swallows picking flies from the road as it warmed up ( I include an adult and youngster ). Finally, a male Wheatear and youngster near Pont ar élan.
