Elan etc.

Betwixt hectic visits: 2 more from Elan village-like all the rest it’s not fun trying to get flies and caterpillars in this weather-island of extremes! L’dod Lake sees diminishing ducklings and goslings , but still 3 young Moorhens. Hordes of wee toads trying to cross the road (some with Martina’s caring help , but loads squashed.Sedge war from by cafe (I think) has relocated to past the oak tree , but still no sign of a female. Gc grebes having no success._DSC6261 copy_filtered

Very nice Kev. They ought to close the road to allow the toads to cross, I know it might seem over the top but is the only way.

Cheers Brian-why do your comments never reach me as emails ? Everyone else’s do. Yes , they used to close it for theMarch Xing , but no longer-I fear the “white elephant” tunnels lulled them into a false sense of security!!!
