121This little fella was the star attraction Mid day at the lakeside..he was stopping people in their tracks with his loud rasping song..at one point approx 20 locals and visitors were lined up listening and sighting ..very confiding bird… wasn’t bothered with folk passing by within metres, a  fabulous showing.169

    Hi Bazz,
    Yes star bird, I could hear him as soon as I got out of my truck 4-10 pm, also Reed Warbler present. Of note was an Otter showing well up in the reed bed where the Bittern was.
    Excellently taken images my friend 🙂
