Around local lanes

Seen / heard today; Swifts screaming in Knighton; Stonechat singing Pen y Bont Common; Cuckoo calling Glascwm; Curlew above Painscastle near Lwr Lundy; 5 House Martins Hundred House; tufted duck Llynheilin . Nice day for cycling around (and up) Radnor Lanes 🙂

    Walking’s pretty good too – I heard a Cuckoo today in the forestry above Harley Valley, plus one (or possibly two) Wheatear, lots of Chiffchaffs a few Willow Warblers, and one Whitethroat at various points during a circuit from New Radnor.

    overall 67 miles, but it was the 8000ft climbing that was tough bit !!
