Elan: This evening 7-00pm, 20+ Fieldfare on fertillized fields at the Hirnant. Elsewhere a few Wheatear, Skylark, Sand Martin, Swallow, House Martin, Redstart, Whinchat, Stonechat, Wood Warbler, Chiffchaff, Willow Warbler, Pied Flycatcher, Reed Bunting and on D y m a pair of Great Crested Grebe, a pair of Mandarin, Greylag Geese and Goosander. Curlew numbers are down this year.


Glanllyn lake: Pairs of Coot, Goosander, Mallard with 5 ducklings, and a single Little Grebe.

    Amazing-wonder if the Fieldfares were just passing through? No mention of any elsewhere in GB.
