Tawny Owl @ Builth

(via Susie Stockton-Link) Caught perching in the beech tree in my front garden, lit up in the security light, at 11pm on Friday night – a very unusually pale tawny owl; large areas almost white [no, it WAS a tawny!]. A pair of mistle thrushes on my back lawn on Saturday morning. Sunday morning, a hen pheasant running along the fence line of my back garden – the first time in 16 years and in a town garden.
