Elan: We had a count of 8 Goldeneye (16th) on D y m reservoir, this is the highest number so far this year. 7 being the highest number during 2015. A Chiffchaff was calling down Claerwen, other birds across Elan included 60+ Fieldfare (Ciloerwynt farm), pairs of Goosander and Mandarin, 200+ Starling and several pairs of Stonechats, Mistle Thrushes, Mippits and Mallards.

    There were just 2 Goldeneye at 5pm with 2 Goosander a GC Grebe and 4 Greylags. No Osprey.
