News from yesterday: A few inches of snow on the mountain tops, bringing a small movement of birds through. A small flock of Song Thrushes 20+ (migrants ?) along with 15 Blackbirds at Troedrhiwdraen. Fieldfare (10) flew through at Pon ar Elan and Stonechats (3),were down Claerwen along with more Blackbirds 20+ (migrants ?).  Goldeneye (6), a pair of Great Crested Grebe (nest building), and a very elusive Little Grebe on D y n reservoir. A male Merlin was along the Aber mountain road. Mippits Back: Looking very picturesque were 20 Meadow Pipits, flitting about in the snow on top of Pont ar Elan.
