_DSC8974_filtered copyWith a wee bit of frost, things livened up! Another Brambling briefly (poor pic) ; Goldcrest returning and scoffing minute bits of PEANUT!!!; Treecreeper on sunflower hearts !!  and Bullfinches( m&f separately) .A couple of Jays pop in usually a.m.  Plus the rest of the usual tits & finches-still getting 8+Siskins , but only one Redpoll (who is hogging them besides Bazz???). Finally , the Lt Tits seem to have split up and we are getting regular visits from two. Oh yeah! Suddenly , we have a pair of Song Thrushes-where on earth do they skulk through the dark months?_DSC8811_filtered copy

Not a bad shot at all Kev. Think I have most of the Redpool here with about 20-25 most of the time. Send over a Bullfinch, Treecreeper and one of your Jays and I let you have a few Redpoll.

Cheers Bri-see what I can do- mind the post is a bit haphazard these days!

Hi Kev…… I have a single male brambling, siskins, goldies…. But no redpolls or long tails

  4. kevjoynes says:

Our Brambling only passed through…again! maybe 2 mins. Does yours stay put?

  5. skylarkmidd says:

He’s been here about 6 weeks (if it’s the same one!)…….spends most of the
mornings on the sunflower seeds with the other birds then disappears only to return the next day.

    Ooooh! I wish!
