A windy blow.

We decided to brave the wet and windy this P.M and walked up and around the lake…a tree completely up rooted opposite the overflow. 2 cormorants still about, one on the dragon and tother on aeration pump near lakeside. The three call ducks hunkering down near the beach fishing platform….one still with a damaged leg , but he still managed to clamber out for some food….also a single male tuftie arrived recently.  Despite the windy rainy conditions a song thrush opposite us singing his heart out all day long and a blackbird singing in the yew tree by the lake cafe…always nice to have evening daylight lengthening.
