Sunshine and Birds.

Yes Sunshine and Birds, amazing what a bit of Sunshine can do.


ELAN: Mild temperatures with the sunshine, certainly brought a few birds into view today. A male Blackcap still present in Cnwch Wood, and at least 50 + Crossbills, now flying around Gwaelod y rhos Wood, also Redpolls and Siskins there. 4 female Goldeneye, a pair of Goosander, single Cormorant and Kingfisher were on D y n Reservoir. A Merlin, and displaying Ravens down Claerwen valley, Sally saw another dashing Merlin over at Craig Goch, good to see you again. Other birds included more displaying Ravens at Pont ar Elan, 2 Kestrels, and a Cormorant flew over high, with a one way ticket to Landod Lake.
