Elan Ouzel

Yesterday , we finally caught up with a Ring Ouzel up the Elan. Sadly as others have said , the Rowans have been stripped save near the VC, so the Redwings/Fieldfares have dwindled away. A Peregrine circled over the quarry and 2 pairs of Bullfinches were crunching what remained of the berries along with 2 Mistle Thrushes. Near Pont ar Elan a dashing Merlin was dive bombing 2 Crows and a couple of Kestrels hovered nearby._DSC2132_filtered
