Spotted Flies.

Still feeding fully fledged young in Rock Park. We are very fortunate in having so many broods here- elsewhere in England there has been an 80% decline  due mainly to the new pesticides which are killing off the large insects on which they survive- hopefully we shall continue to escape this problem.DSC_9843_filteredDSC_9921_filtered

2 lovely distinct pics from different angles. I’ve been a Rock Pk visitor recently, not bird watching I’m ashamed to say, but dog walking and supporting the new café !

Well done-we do need to support it.
