Drake still present on the lake, also 9 Goosanders.

1 seen near Bwlch-y-sarnau last night whilst out ringing Woodcock.  On the Woodcock side of things, 6 were seen with 1 of them being trapped and ringed.

1 on the river Wye today, also 7 Cormorants, 3 Lesser Black-backed Gulls, 4 Black-headed Gulls, 1 Grey Heron, 3+ Wigeon, Teal (heard), 50+ Mallards, 6 Mute Swans and 17 Snipe.

In a nearby flooded crop field there were 300+ Canada Geese, 40+ Mallards and a handful of Mute Swans.

1 seen from the hide today, also 5 Herons, 4 Mallards, 35+ Wigeon and 70+ Teal.

6 on the lake today, also 12 Mallards, 2 Teal (several others heard calling), 33 Tufted Ducks, 20 Coots and 3 Cormorants.

1 flushed on the old tip near the hide today, a Water Rail was also present.

The Sparrowhawk paid a brief visit again to the garden, as did a ringed Jay (the first I have seen with a ring on). A male Bullfinch and a handfull of Siskins were among the rest of the usual gang!!

Over the road, Tony Cross saw a (un-ringed) Jay in his garden, the first one he has seen there!

1 flushed from the reeds by the carpark today, other birds present included, 3 Mute Swans, 22 Coots, 1 Little Grebe, 3 Tufted Ducks, 2 Teal and 55 Snipe.

17 on the pool today, also 9 Mute Swans, 1 Grey Heron, 11 Moorhens, 3 Tufted Ducks, 3 Teal and 2 Mallards.

16 there today, also 3 Moorhens.

Had 8 blue tits in front conservatory early this afternoon. Can only assume they all came in through window which was only slightly open.
