The male who is usually stuck right out in the middle of the lake decided to come within range, also one of the Juv Grebes paid a visit…. All this whilst I was watching the female Kingfisher fishing along the lakeside reeds. The water rail was in full cry and the Gadwall has been joined by 8 Goosanders.
That wigeon looks gorgeous with the blue…sadly an infrequent event!
