After the rain cleared took a spin up to Brynthomas Bridge Cwmbrith to see if the winter thrush’s were about …. As you can see they were… at least 500 reds 200 Fields and several hundred Starlings and 3/4 jays. Peewits have gone … but a terrific sight watching these birds come dive bombing into the hawthorn trees grab a berry or two then racing off to the safety of the nearest big tree…. they have demolished all the elderberry and Rowan are now mopping up the hawthorn… hope they leave a few for the waxing if they decide to venture across to Wales.
I had to do a bit of cloning in Photoshop to remove a twig from this Jay. Hope you won’ notice.

Not enough room for the lake!!!!!!!!.
